Ameri[can?] Women's Club gives $1,200

FR. PASCALL'S charitable projects in the little village of Cedros are off to a good start in '72, thanks to a donation of $1,200 from the President and members of the Latin American Women's Club, two weeks ago.

The money was obtained from fund-raising efforts organised by Mrs. Carlos Irazabal, President, during November and December of last year.

THANKS

In a letter of thanks, Fr. Pascall said that the money will be used to help solve some of the individual problems facing the people of Cedros:

Educating a girl at St. Charles' Convent, supporting a family with three children, transport and food bill of one boy in the village, six elderly people at the St. Vincent de Paul Home for the aged, a couple with five children, and other kids with other problems who will go to Fr. Pascall for help during the year.

He also thanked the members of the Latin American Women's Club for their thoughtfulness, initiative and courage in doing something positive for a neglected and backward area.
